Tad Kohara started making cues in 1963 and has continued to make custom cues until the present day. Tad has been an inspiration and an influence on many of the well known cuemakers of today. When he was passed over by the ACA for induction to their Hall of Fame the exhibiting cuemakers decided to award him with a lifetime achievement award.

A special exhibit of Tad cues was provided by J and J America and was prominently displayed at the Saturday afternoon cue show.
