The International Cue Collectors Shows are more than just a display of the worlds finest cues. They are a complete event including seminars, cocktail parties and dinners. Invited guests, collectors and cuemakers enjoy a unique opportunity to associate with one another and discuss and share a common interest in collectible cues.
The first Cue Collectors Show was in Ruidoso New Mexico in September of 2002. At the invitation of Bill Stroud collectors and cuemakers from around the world came to a small mountain town to display their collections and latest designs for the first time.
The next show was called The Showcase at the Ritz and was held at the lovely Ritz Carlton hotel in Marina del Rey, California in September 2003. At this show the cuemakers were the focus of attention. Each invited cuemaker brought new and very interesting designs. The Madera Collection was commissioned by Tony Martino expressly for this show.
The second Cue Collectors show was held at the award winning Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City, Utah in September, 2004. Collector Rick Rogers acted as host and collectors and invited cuemakers displayed their cues for the world to see.
In October of 2005 the Showcase at the Ritz was held at the beach front Ritz Carlton Hotel in Palm Beach Florida. Sandwiched between two hurricanes the event had perfect timing. Collectors showed their latest acquisitions and cuemakers exhibited their latest creations.
