The first Showcase at the Ritz began with a cocktail party in the beautiful rose garden to honor Tad Kohara. During the party Tad was presented with a lifetime achievement award for his contributions to cuemaking.

Immediately following the cocktail party invited guests, collectors and cuemakers enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the hotel restaurant, Cafe del Rey.

The following day the Showcase was held in the magnificent ballroom of the Ritz Carlton Hotel.

That evening collectors, cuemakers and guests were invited to a great dinner at the restaurant next door to the hotel.
